About Us

      The symposium originated in 2013 from the idea of creating a small, focused forum where in-depth lectures could be delivered to a serious audience from diverse academic backgrounds. Such exchanges of knowledge play a vital role in fostering interdisciplinary research and collaboration.

   Three words of Water, Feedbacks, and Complexity were chosen to best represent the commonness among us (water), important processes to figure out (feedbacks), and the nature of our research subjects (complexity).

      Since its inception in 2013, the symposium has been successfully held on an annual basis and has been hosted by six universities across five countries.
